Virtual school shows and online school assembly virtual learning programs teach history, literacy, math, etc through the arts
Virtual school shows by professional actors & musicians infuse math, literacy, history, internet safety into the performing arts producing core-aligned educational programs that make virtual learning fun and engaging.
Winceyco began using the performing arts to teach the brilliance of the African and African American as a response to the untold, deficient, and distorted black history lessons that were included as part of the school curriculum. Since that time Winceyco has educated tens of thousands of audience members and has hired hundreds of performers and educators of every race, creed, and color. We, at Winceyco, are grieved by the hatred and racism that national and local leadership and public servants have not only demonstrated, but sanctioned by neglecting to denounce the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Ahmaud Arbery and countless other brothers and sisters. Our hearts are broken and we are grossly disappointed in this bias system that continues to fail our people on so many levels. Winceyco stands for unity, respect, love, and honor for every man, woman, boy, and girl. And we support every peaceful and integral demonstration that furthers this agenda. #BLACKLIVESMATTER
While Winceyco misses being able to share in-person time with the students, we prioritize safety. And because COVID-19 restrictions are on track to keep students out of their classrooms indefinitely, Winceyco has converted many of our performing arts program offerings to a format suitable for online consumption. To enable students and educators access to the same quality of arts education products our Winceyco family and friends have grown accustomed to, we have developed a series of Livestream virtual learning sessions for students and professional development training workshops for teachers. Winceyco’s interactive virtual school shows punctuate animated scenes with message music to teach your students science, math, literacy, and character education.
